Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Bobby James!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kyle Reyes!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, William Gold and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

James tries to keep at a distance but Reyes has taken the fight into the clinch.

Reyes's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Reyes has closed the distance and engaged James in a clinch.
James landing knees to the head.
Reyes lands an elbow inside.


It looks like Bobby James has been cut.
James is trying to pull guard but Reyes has him pressed against the cage.
James lands an elbow that stopped Reyes in his tracks for a moment.
James looking to throw knees to the head but Reyes is blocking nicely.
James is trying to drag Reyes to the mat but Reyes just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
James tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
James dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage.
Reyes avoids a wild elbow strike from James.

James is looking to control Reyes's arms but Reyes gets an underhook and turns him. Now James has his back to the cage.

Reyes pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Reyes rushes James and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
James is trying to break free.
Reyes lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of James backwards.
Reyes takes an elbow to the forehead.


It looks like Kyle Reyes has been cut.

Reyes breaks the clinch.
Reyes moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Reyes closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. James did well to prevent Reyes getting side control.
Reyes looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Reyes stands up out of the half guard.

Reyes instigates a clinch.
James misses with an elbow strike.

James throws an elbow but it misses.

James is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.

Reyes rushes James and presses him up against the cage.

Reyes breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Nice takedown defense from James. No joy for Reyes on that attempt.
James throws a big counter combination but Reyes scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.

James gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Reyes to score an easy takedown into full guard.
James is breathing heavily.
Reyes showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
Reyes with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.

Reyes drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Reyes seems to have locked his on tight now - James screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Reyes, as he picks up the win!
