Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Phil High (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nate Freeman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Freeman has chosen Old Firm Casuals - Better start running as his entrance music. Phil High has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
High lands a front kick.
Freeman tries to move into range but High moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
High lands with a thumping leg kick.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by High.
Freeman takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
A chopping leg kick lands by High.
High paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Freeman ducks under a wild hook from High.
Freeman misses with a hook. High ducked under it nicely.
Phil High seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Freeman avoids the head kick by High.

High shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. High showed some decent athleticism there.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Freeman is holding on to half guard well.

High looks to land a strike but Freeman avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
Freeman is trying to control the position but High postures up.
High throws a big right hand that misses.
High with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Freeman really doesn't want to stay on the ground with High. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
High stands up over Freeman, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Freeman wants to control the position but High says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.

High seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

High thows a huge punch but Freeman dodges it nicely.
High is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

High is in close to Freeman's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Freeman is rocked!
High is working Freeman over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Freeman is still in real trouble! Can High finish him?

High gets to his feet and stands over Freeman, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Freeman felt that one! High unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Freeman from any more punishment!
