Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Michal Arlovsky!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, George Francis and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Arlovsky tries for a takedown but Bean circles away easily
and Bean counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Arlovsky has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Bean is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Bean scores with a jab to the jaw.


It looks like Michal Arlovsky has been cut.

Arlovsky misses with a takedown
and Bean counters with a straight right hand.
Bean lands with a shot to the body.
Arlovsky shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Mister Bean has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Michal Arlovsky.
Arlovsky takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Bean stops Arlovsky from passing to mount.
Arlovsky postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Bean on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Bean tries to get out of the position.

Arlovsky is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Bean knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Bean tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.
Bean knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Arlovsky on the ground.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Arlovsky is working for a guillotine from mount but Bean frees his head quite easily.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Arlovsky throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Bean has his hands clasped together but Arlovsky breaks the hold and Bean is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Arlovsky!
