Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ray Stoner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Murray Rothbard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rothbard has chosen Anarchy as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Cecil Peabody and George Francis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stoner misses with a hook
and Rothbard counters with a left to the body.
Stoner with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Rothbard throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Stoner is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Stoner fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Rothbard, pushing him back against the cage.
Stoner tries to throw a body punch but Rothbard avoids it by throwing Stoner back against the cage.
We've been informed that Rothbard has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Rothbard lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

Rothbard breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Ray Stoner seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rothbard lands a nice shot to the body.

Rothbard lands a nice hook to Stoner's body. Stoner takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Rothbard comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Stoner misses with a straight left.
Stoner ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Rothbard moves away.

A slapping leg kick lands for Rothbard.
Rothbard thuds a left hand into Stoner's body.
Stoner takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Stoner throws a right hand that Rothbard ducks under and follows up with a left that Rothbard also avoids with ease.
Rothbard doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Stoner misses the shot to the body.
Rothbard darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

It looks like Ray Stoner has been cut.
Stoner takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Rothbard fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Rothbard digs a good hook to Stoner's body.
Stoner is breathing heavily.
Rothbard circles away from the clinch attempt.
Stoner throws a body punch but Rothbard moves out of range.
Rothbard let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Stoner tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Rothbard cracks a nice hook into Stoner's ribs.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Rothbard uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Stoner.

Stoner has Rothbard up against the cage in a clinch.

Rothbard breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Rothbard digs a good body shot into Stoner's ribs.
Rothbard lands with a good body shot.
Rothbard cracks Stoner with an open hand slap.
Rothbard scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Rothbard cracks Stoner with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Rothbard lands with a nice combination. Stoner backs away looking to recover.
Rothbard dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Rothbard lands a big right hand that sends Stoner crashing to the mat! Rothbard stays standing though and waves Stoner back to his feet!

Stoner is rocked!
Stoner switches off momentarily and Rothbard cracks him with a monster right hand! Stoner topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Rothbard dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Rothbard!
