Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Aaron Buck!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ink Nation!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Bruno Lombardi and Steve Montenegro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nation throws a nice looking combination but Buck bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Buck is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Nation.
Buck definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Buck has Nation up against the ropes in a clinch.
Buck has Nation pressed against the ropes, preventing Nation from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Buck lands a left hand.
Nation wants to get back to striking at distance but Buck won't allow it.
A nice left hand lands by Buck.

Buck breaks from the clinch.

Buck rushes Nation and presses him up against the ropes.
Buck lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nation takes an elbow to the temple.


It looks like Ink Nation has been cut.

Nation tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. Buck manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Nation tries to close the distance and clinch but Buck swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Nation has had enough of the clinch but Buck keeps him there for the moment.

Nation is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the ropes.

Nation stalks Buck and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Buck's face. Buck staggers backwards, shaken.

Nation catches Buck with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

and Buck counters with a left and a right that stings Nation.

Nation is trying to break the clinch but Buck has him pressed against the ropes.

Ink Nation seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Buck connects with a looping right hand.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Nation throws a combination that misses
and Buck counters with a body kick that stops Nation in his tracks momentarily.
Nation moves into range and connects with a jab.

Buck has managed to clinch.
The referee is keeping an eye on Buck - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Nation wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Aaron Buck has scored more points in the clinch so far.
Buck will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Nation up against the ropes.
Buck is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Nation can do to turn this around?

After the fight, Aaron Buck was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
