PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Cristhoper Reem (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Torr Es (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Cristhoper Reem!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Torr Es!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Roosa Järviläinen and Matti Vanhoillinen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Es is looking to clinch.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Reem, as that shot connected.
Reem lands a nice shot that snaps Es's head back.

Reem has managed to clinch.
Reem works on Es's body with a couple of short punches.
Reem has a couple of punches blocked by Es.
Reem misses with a hook from the clinch.
Es tries to stall but Reem uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Es tries to pull guard but Reem holds him up against the cage and eventually Es drops back down to his feet.
Es is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Reem is keeping busy.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Es seems frustrated at his inability to get double underhooks.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Reem gets through Es's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Es takes a shot to the head.
Es with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Es has Reem pushed against the cage.
Reem lands a hook that snaps the head of Es backwards.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Reem lands a nice uppercut.
Reem lands a right hand.
Reem pushes Es back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Reem misses with a punch to the body.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Reem.
A nice left hand lands by Reem.
Reem lands a body shot in the clinch.

Es jumps guard.

Reem avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Es has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Reem can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Reem not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Es had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Reem defends it easily.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Es working for a triangle but Reem defends it easily.
Reem is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Es is looking to cinch up a triangle. Reem throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Es's body to avoid the submission. Es has instead reached around Reem's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Es arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
