Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Maxim Rovanov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stella Artois (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rovanov's entrance music is System Of A Down - Chop Suey!. A fine choice. Stella Artois has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Maxim Rovanov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Winston Alpacca and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Artois feints and as Rovanov raises his hands in defense, Artois changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Rovanov looking for a sweep. Not yet Rovanov, not yet.
Rovanov throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Rovanov working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Artois doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Artois manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Artois stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Rovanov swivels though and keeps the full guard.

We've been hearing good reports from Rovanov's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
