Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Eddie Malingo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Lennon!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Malingo misses with a looping left.

We've been hearing reports that Malingo has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Malingo, as that shot connected.

Malingo throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Lennon escapes and throws Malingo's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Malingo, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Eddie Malingo spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
