Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Hamish Reid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Street Fighter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Hamish Reid!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Street Fighter!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reid's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Fighter connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Reid scrambles back to his feet.
Fighter lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Reid has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Reid there as he acknowledges the shot.
Reid tries to land a body kick
and Reid takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Fighter scores with a crisp jab that stopped Reid in his tracks.


Reid is rocked!
Fighter misses with a looping left.
Reid feinted there with a counter leg kick.
Oh Reid is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Fighter misses with a wild body shot.
Reid is looking to counter the offense by Fighter and move into the clinch.
Reid takes a swing at Fighter's ribcage but misses.

It looks like Street Fighter has been cut.
Fighter tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Reid smiles and moves away.

Reid throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Fighter tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Reid was well out of range. Poor timing from Fighter.

Hamish Reid is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Fighter thuds a left hand into Reid's body.

Both fighters circling a little - Reid finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Fighter keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Reid drives through and clinches with Fighter against the cage.
Reid gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Reid just misses with a elbow thrown towards Fighter's brow.
Reid comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Fighter pushes Reid back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Reid works on Fighter's body with a couple of short punches.
Fighter takes an elbow to the temple.
Reid lands a damaging elbow.
Fighter prevents a body shot from Reid.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Reid creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Fighter lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Reid backwards.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Fighter breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Fighter dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Some bone on bone action there as Fighter checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Reid misses with a low kick.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Hamish Reid will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Street Fighter's cut.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Fighter looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Reid works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

As Fighter tries to get set, Reid tries to push him back and clinch up but Fighter manages to avoid the attempt.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Fighter accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Fighter postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Fighter moves out of range of the leg kick from Reid.
Reid lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Fighter throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Reid throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Reid lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Reid ducks right into an uppercut from Fighter.

Reid pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Fighter back to the cage. Reid follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Reid looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Reid, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
