Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miocic shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Grey as he avoids it easily.
Grey lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Miocic shoots in for a takedown but Grey shows good takedown defense.
Miocic goes for a double leg but Grey avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Grey continues to drive forward.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Stipe Miocic. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Grey connects with a single shot there.

and Miocic takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Grey jumps guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Grey is pulling down on Miocic's head. It's preventing any offense from Miocic, at least for the moment.
Grey wants to stand and escape but Miocic is having none of it.

Miocic looking to sit in guard and control but Grey gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Grey working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Grey decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Miocic, up you get!

Grey tries a head kick but it misses.
No luck for Grey with that takedown attempt.
Miocic drops down looking for a counter takedown but Grey sprawls and moves away.

Grey breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

and Grey counters with a right hand to the body.
Grey has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Miocic.
No luck for Miocic with that takedown attempt.
Grey dives in for a single leg takedown but Miocic sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Miocic throws a solid leg kick but Grey takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Miocic.

Grey breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Grey tries to bum rush Miocic with a series of wild strikes but Miocic uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Miocic tries to clinch up but Grey circles away and keeps his distance.
Miocic throws a front kick that sends Grey stumbling back into the cage.
Grey lands a jab.
Miocic stuffs the takedown attempt from Grey. Grey gets slowly back to his feet.

and Grey makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Miocic is breathing heavily.

Miocic tries to keep at a distance but Grey has taken the fight into the clinch.
Grey is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Miocic gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Grey pulls Miocic into guard.
Miocic really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Grey had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Miocic defends it easily.

Miocic avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Miocic wanted to stand there but Grey had control of the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ethan Grey dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Miocic is looking to clinch but Grey is avoiding it.

Grey rushes Miocic and starts throwing punches like they are going out of style! Miocic is up against the cage and has nowhere to go. Grey piles on the pressure and Miocic crumples to the floor! This one is all over!
