The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pugh closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Buckeye's guard.
Pugh is looking to stand up but Buckeye won't let him.
Pugh postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

Buckeye has his foot on Pugh's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Pugh works his way back into a safe position though.

Pugh really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Buckeye throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Buckeye is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Pugh frees his head nicely. Oh but Buckeye has switched to an armbar! Pugh is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
