The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Brown drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Alvarez sneaks out the side door and pushes Brown away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
Nathan Brown seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Brown fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Alvarez manages to avoid it.

Alvarez decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Alvarez works his foot free and advances to mount.
Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground!

Alvarez lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Alvarez lands a heavy shot. That's hurt Brown! Alvarez sees the opportunity and turns up the heat - strike after strike land to the defenseless Brown and the ref dives in to save him! This one is all over!
