Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Uber San!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Otto Tjack!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Richard Clark and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slow jab from Tjack misses its intended target.
Tjack throws a right and a left that San avoids nicely.

San gets a clinch.
Tjack misses with some punches.
San lands a body punch.
The referee calls for San to work.
Tjack is trying to break the clinch but San has him pressed against the cage.
Tjack can't find room to land a body shot as San controls the action.
Tjack wants to break the clinch but can't.
San blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
San lands a shoulder strike.
San scores with a shot to the side of Tjack's head.
San blocking some punches.
San avoiding damage.

San jumps guard but Tjack stands there with San around his waist. San gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Tjack tries to break free but San pushes him back against the cage.

San prevents Tjack from breaking the clinch.

San jumps guard but Tjack stands there with San around his waist. San gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Tjack lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Tjack has a couple of punches blocked by San.
San takes a shot to the head.

San scores with a shot to the side of Tjack's head.

Tjack breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
No luck with that takedown attempt from San.

San doesn't manage to clinch there - Tjack circles away.
Tjack keeps the fight on the outside.
San avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
San was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
San tries to clinch but Tjack moves away
and Tjack counters with a left and a right that stings San.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

and San counters with a nice uppercut.
Tjack connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Tjack has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. San seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Tjack can turn it around.
A short left from Tjack.
Tjack is looking to break free of the clinch but San has double underhooks.
San looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

Tjack has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Tjack tries to break the clinch but San is controlling the position.

San tries to pull guard but Tjack holds him up against the cage and eventually San drops back down to his feet.

Tjack misses with a hook to the ribs.

Tjack breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Tjack lands with an overhand left.
San throws a big shot that misses.
Tjack stuffs the takedown.
Tjack keeps the fight on the outside.
Tjack tests San's chin there with a solid looking shot.
San scores with a body shot.

The fight stays on the outside here - San looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
San tries to close the distance and clinch but Tjack swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Tjack throws a hook to the side of San's head but San sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
San appears to be looking for a big counter.
Tjack looks to land a right hand but San moved out of range.
San wants to clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Otto Tjack dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Tjack misses with the head strike.
San is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Tjack pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Tjack wants to break the clinch but can't.
San tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Tjack swings wildly with an uppercut but San uses good head movement to avoid it.

San jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Tjack walks away with a smile on his face. San gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

San shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Tjack as he jumps to the side.

Tjack unleashes a big counter combination but San bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Otto Tjack is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
San slips a jab and a cross from Tjack.
San gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Tjack connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Tjack throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
San is trying hard to land a takedown here. Tjack sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
San tries to close the distance and clinch but Tjack swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Tjack unleashes a big counter combination but San bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.

San looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Tjack looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
San closes the distance and clinches up with Tjack, looking for a takedown. San pushes Tjack against the cage but Tjack circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

A looping hook to the body misses from Tjack. San does a little dance to reset his feet.

and Tjack counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Tjack might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

San shoots in for a double leg but Tjack sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
It seemed like Tjack was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

San tries to clinch there but Tjack circles away.
Tjack displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from San.
San walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.


San is rocked!
Tjack cracks San with a left hook right on the temple and San goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Tjack lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully San is OK!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Otto Tjack!
Otto Tjack is the new bantamweight champion!
Otto Tjack decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
