PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Royal Pain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Justin Midget (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pain kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is AC/DC Thunderstruck. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pain pushes Midget up against the cage in a clinch.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Pain.
Still in the clinch, Pain scores with a nice short uppercut.
Pain lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Midget backwards.

Midget turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!

Midget tries for a kimura but Pain is defending well.

Midget is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Pain is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Pain manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Midget looking for submissions off his back.
Pain looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

Midget is defending against the submission attempts here by Pain.
Pain will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Midget has hold of Pain's hands but Pain slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Pain wants to work for an arm triangle but Midget is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Midget is looking for a sweep. Pain is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Midget is trying to get back to full guard.

Pain is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Pain wants to control but Midget is keeping him busy.

Pain slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Pain scores with a couple of short elbows.
We've been hearing that Pain has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
Midget is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Pain's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

Midget is trying to maintain the position but Pain is very close to passing his half guard.

Pain maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Midget could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Pain has cracked it and Midget is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Pain!
