The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Skjoldr chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Hansen moves into the clinch.

Skjoldr wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Hansen manages to pass to side control.

Hansen feints and as Skjoldr raises his hands in defense, Hansen changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Hansen pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Hansen looks for a takedown but Skjoldr sprawls well.
Despite the aggression on Skjoldr's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
