The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Allen will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Allen wants to clinch.
Kong tries a quick counter leg kick but Allen is wise to it.

Krom Kong seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Kong counters with a nice uppercut.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Kong, as that shot connected.

Kong avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Krom Kong dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

It looked like Allen was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

Rock Allen is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Kong's coach down at 3Band MMA ($500/week) was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Kong's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Allen is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

Kong thuds his right hand into Allen's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Krom Kong showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Krom Kong seems to be getting the better of the standup.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Allen. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Kong rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Allen moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Krom Kong is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
