Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Alex Graves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Evan Payton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Graves comes into the arena with London Calling blaring out of the sound system. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Anthony Taglia and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Graves keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Graves drops down looking for a counter takedown but Payton sprawls and moves away.
Payton throws a nice outside leg kick.
Payton moves into range and connects with a jab.
Payton lands a glancing blow to the side of Graves's head.
Graves has been working on his balance at FIERCE, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Payton.
Graves gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Payton.

Payton lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Graves slips under a jab.
Payton tries a low kick but Graves avoids it.
Graves appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Evan Payton is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Payton lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Payton fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Graves.
Graves shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Graves was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Payton explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!
Evan Payton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Graves on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Graves is rocked!
Payton is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Graves flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Graves is out cold! Payton holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
