The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Socha's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Damione Deathclaw connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Socha scrambles back to his feet.
Damione Deathclaw throws a hook to the side of Socha's head but Socha sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Damione Deathclaw fails in his attempt to clinch.

Socha takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Damione Deathclaw looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Socha avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Socha uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Damione Deathclaw.
Socha throws out a counter right but Damione Deathclaw avoids it with no problem.
Socha connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.

It looks like Calypso Damione Deathclaw has been cut.
Socha throws a body shot but no joy.
Socha throws a jab when Damione Deathclaw was well out of range.
Damione Deathclaw jabs Socha to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Damione Deathclaw listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Damione Deathclaw scores with a jab. Socha acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

Damione Deathclaw throws a lazy right hand but Socha sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Socha throws a sloppy head kick and Damione Deathclaw moves out of range easily.
Socha uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Damione Deathclaw.
Calypso Damione Deathclaw seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Damione Deathclaw throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Socha's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Damione Deathclaw dives in looking to finish as Socha flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Damione Deathclaw's strikes! Damione Deathclaw is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Socha's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Socha was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.
