Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Werner Gregory (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyson Middle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Paul Gruel and Josh West.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gregory gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Middle is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Middle jumps guard.
Middle lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
Gregory pushes Middle off and gets back to his feet.
Middle looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Gregory!
Gregory sneaks out the side door and pushes Middle away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Gregory avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
As Middle looks to move away, Gregory throws a big counter combo but Middle just gets out of the way.
Middle gets tackled into the cage by Gregory. Gregory maintains the clinch.
Gregory breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Middle closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Gregory tries to kick Middle off in order to stand up. Middle Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
Middle swings around for an armbar but Gregory sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Middle's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Middle is looking for a triangle but Gregory pushes his legs off easily.
Gregory lands a couple of digs.
Gregory cracks Middle with a solid left hand.
Gregory stands up over Middle, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Gregory is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Middle presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.
Gregory is trying to force a seperation but Middle has the dominant position.

Gregory moves into range and clinches up with Middle.
Gregory gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.

Gregory stands up from Middle's guard - Gregory perhaps looking for a knockout.
Middle shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Gregory manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Gregory scrambles and gets back to his feet.

Gregory drives through and clinches with Middle against the cage.

Gregory thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Middle is working an open guard so Gregory takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Middle wants the takedown. Gregory is fighting it off but Middle persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Gregory's guard against the cage.
Gregory is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

Middle sitting in guard doing not very much at all here. Gregory doesn't need a second invitation though! He's locked up a guillotine and he's squeezing tight! That is tiiiiiiiiight! Middle paying the price for stalling here - he's pushing hard on the arm trying to free himself but it's no use! He's tapped! WOW, quick submission from Gregory - great work!
