Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Manual Sloan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Samoa Joe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Joe's choice of entrance music: Destroyer. Samoa Joe has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Joe tests Sloan's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Manual Sloan's cut is getting worse.
Crunch! Sloan slams his shin into Joe's torso.
Sloan connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Joe's hands.

Joe changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Sloan looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Sloan takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Sloan takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Joe happy to just control the position for now.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Sloan is looking to regain half guard here but Joe keeps moving and retains side control.
Sloan could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Sloan wants to control but Joe postures up.

Joe is putting a hurting on Sloan here, landing some big shots from side control.

Manual Sloan's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Joe lands a decent elbow from side control.

Jeez, Manual Sloan's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Manual Sloan's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Samoa Joe spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
