Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dale Rogers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Granite Gunn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Dale Rogers has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Dale Rogers seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rogers misses with a body shot.
The fighters circle momentarily. Gunn darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Gunn connects with a good right hand that stumbles Rogers. Rogers circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

It looks like Dale Rogers has been cut.
Gunn takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
A looping hook to the body misses from Gunn. Rogers does a little dance to reset his feet.
Gunn scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

It seemed like Gunn was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Rogers throws a leg kick which misses Gunn's front leg but catches the back leg as Gunn tries to avoid it.
Rogers uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Gunn.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Gunn, as that shot connected.

Rogers does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Rogers tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Gunn was well out of range. Poor timing from Rogers.
Rogers takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

and Rogers takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Rogers will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Dale Rogers seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Gunn is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Rogers had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

and Gunn scores with a counter punch that sends Rogers to the canvas! Gunn smells blood - he's punishing Rogers with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Rogers has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
