PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Kimble Cho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Williams has chosen All the Above- Maino ft. T-Pain as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 53 - 37 - 5, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Paul Williams!
The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Alexandre Firmino and Felipe Paraventi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cho uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Williams.
Cho dives in for a single leg takedown but Williams sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Williams throws a front kick aimed at Cho's knee but Cho avoids it well.

and Williams counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Cho goes for a double leg but Williams avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Williams continues to drive forward.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Williams is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Cho presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Well Williams has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
