Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ahmad Safwan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tuny Fergossun (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ahmad Safwan had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 156.3lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fergossun gets a clinch.

Fergossun escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Safwan dives in for a single leg takedown but Fergossun sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Safwan really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Safwan tries to clinch there but Fergossun circles away.
Safwan connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Safwan wants to clinch.
Safwan misses with a head kick.
Safwan tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Safwan moves in looking to clinch but Fergossun pushes him off.
Safwan throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Fergossun moves into the clinch.

Fergossun pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Fergossun pushes Safwan back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Safwan tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Fergossun smiles and moves away.

Fergossun pushes Safwan up against the cage in a clinch.
Safwan tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Fergossun's elbow.

Fergossun breaks from the clinch.

Oooooh!!! Fergossun has knocked Safwan down with a huge combo! Fergossun steps away and waves a wobbly Safwan back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Safwan is rocked!

It looks like Ahmad Safwan has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Fergossun connects with a left and a right that sees a clearly hurt Safwan covering up! Fergossun comes in with a big uppercut and Safwan goes doooown! He's slumped up against the cage, eyes staring blankly into space.

In defeat, Ahmad Safwan stepped up to the mic, saying 'i will come back and fight to win.'.
