Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Marlo Stanfield (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jose Cuervo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Stanfield might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Legendary. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Elvis Blanc and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stanfield throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Cuervo follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land.
Cuervo lands a slapping body shot.
A telegraphed right hand from Cuervo misses the target.
Cuervo throws a wild body kick that Stanfield sees coming a mile off.
Cuervo misses with a wild body shot.
Stanfield throwing a counter right hand but Cuervo manages to avoid it.
Cuervo is looking to chop away at Stanfield's legs.
Stanfield throws a lazy right hand but Cuervo sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Cuervo swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
A left lands for Stanfield.
Cuervo missing with a left hand there. Stanfield was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Stanfield is looking to counter punch.
Cuervo takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Stanfield checks a leg kick nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Stanfield lands a really nice looking cross but Cuervo seems unphased.
Stanfield takes one to the chin there.
Cuervo throws a push kick but Stanfield slaps the foot to one side.
Stanfield moves out of range of the body kick from Cuervo.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Stanfield throws a perfectly timed hook that sends Cuervo crashing down! Cuervo tries to stagger back to his feet but Stanfield just hammers him until the ref stops the fight! A confused Cuervo asks the ref what just happened. Poor fella.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Marlo Stanfield!
Marlo Stanfield seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
In defeat, Jose Cuervo stepped up to the mic, saying 'Taxi! To the nearest pub.'.
