And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Malaki Lima!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Sam Margolis and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lima lands with an uppercut that bounces Gorski off the cage and back into range.
Lima slips under a jab from Gorski.
Gorski misses with a looping right.
Gorski gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Lima lands with a right hand.
Lima throws a right and a left that Gorski avoids nicely.
Gorski throws a hook but Lima avoids it easily.
Lima steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Gorski.
Lima smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Gorski closes the distance and clinches.
Lima tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Gorski just stands there and leans against the cage.

Gorski gets a trip takedown into half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Gorski is looking to take a break and control but Lima is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Gorski in particular looking to stall.

Gorski is looking for a kimura but Lima is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Gorski to get the leverage.
Gorski perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Lima gets back to full guard.
Lima wants to sweep but no luck.
Gorski is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Gorski trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Lima lands a jab to the head.
Gorski lands with an uppercut that bounces Lima off the cage and back into range.
Lima needs to keep his hands up - Gorski had a free shot at his head there.
A nice combination there by Lima.

Gorski seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

Gorski throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Lima has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Gorski walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Lima clobbers Gorski with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Gorski shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Lima as he avoids it easily.

Gorski throws a hook but Lima avoids it easily.
Gorski tries to clinch there but Lima circles away.
Grzegorz Gorski seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Gorski clinches up with Lima and pushes him back against the cage.
Gorski lands a body shot in the clinch.
Gorski doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Lima jumps guard but Gorski stands there with Lima around his waist. Lima gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

That was a close round but I would say that Grzegorz Gorski will probably get the nod.

Lima cracks Gorski with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Lima wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Lima lands with a straight right. Gorski didn't see that one coming.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Gorski wants to lay and pray for a moment but Lima keeps working.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Malaki Lima seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Lima scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Gorski throws a big shot that misses.
Lima drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Gorski defends it well.
Lima bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Gorski tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Gorski shoots for a takedown but Lima saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Lima misses with the combination.

Gorski shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Lima won't allow Gorski to pass to mount.
Lima tries to get to full guard but Gorski has control of the leg.
Gorski will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Gorski wants to take a breather but Lima is having none of it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!


A left and a right from Lima both land. Nice combination.
Gorski on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Lima takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Lima throws an overhand right that lands on Gorski's shoulder, as Gorski tries to avoid the shot.
Lima dips to his left and cracks Gorski with an uppercut!
Gorski misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Gorski misses with a body shot.
Lima uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Gorski.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lima doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Lima swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Gorski cracks Lima with an open hand slap.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Lima scores with a jab.
Lima might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Lima gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Gorski to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Gorski controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Lima looking for a sweep. Not yet Lima, not yet.
Gorski is fighting to break Lima's control of his arms but Lima is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Gorski drops back, looking for a kneebar! Lima looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Lima looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Lima!

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Lima wants to control but Gorski is keeping him busy.

Gorski can't do much from the bottom here.
Gorski is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.
Gorski gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.

Lima looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Gorski with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Gorski is pressing down on Lima's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Lima content to stall in guard here.
Malaki Lima has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Grzegorz Gorski is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Gorski controls Lima momentarily but Lima frees himself.

Gorski fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Lima manages to avoid it.

Malaki Lima comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Gorski has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
