Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kenny Small (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eg Por Kvartir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Eg Por Kvartir will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Small has managed to clinch.
Por Kvartir looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Small has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Por Kvartir is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Small has hold of one of Por Kvartir's legs. Por Kvartir is fighting the takedown attempt but Small gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Por Kvartir is working an open guard so Small takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Small moves into range and clinches up with Por Kvartir.
Small is trying to pull guard but Por Kvartir turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Small lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Small misses with a hook from the clinch.

Small is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Por Kvartir can't fight it off and eventually Small manages to take the fight to the floor. Por Kvartir looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Por Kvartir is wriggling around but Small manages to pass to half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Small looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Por Kvartir with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Small slips a nice elbow through Por Kvartir's hands, connecting with Por Kvartir's forehead.

Small has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Por Kvartir defend it? Small steps over the head and cranks it - Por Kvartir is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Small!
