With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Gustav Von Trappenhof!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Nard Betker and Aafke Stam.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Von Trappenhof is trying hard to land a takedown here. Pace sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Von Trappenhof shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Pace pinned against the cage. Pace gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Von Trappenhof just manages to avoid a counter high kick fromPace.

Pace tries to sprawl but Von Trappenhof drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Pace moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Von Trappenhof slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Pace really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Von Trappenhof can do anything to dispel that myth.

Let's hope that Von Trappenhof has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Von Trappenhof has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Double XX. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.

Von Trappenhof bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Pace's guard.

Von Trappenhof tries to free his leg and advance position but Pace is retaining full guard.

Pace has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Von Trappenhof has passed into side control.

Von Trappenhof has hold of Pace's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Pace seems comfortable defending it but Von Trappenhof has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Pace is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Pace is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Von Trappenhof couldn't care less - he's delighted!
