Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jordan Woodward (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tomas Chicote (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tomas Chicote is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Woodward stuffs the takedown attempt from Chicote. Chicote gets slowly back to his feet.

Woodward gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Chicote to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Chicote forces his way into half guard.
Chicote has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Physical Gym($50). Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.

Woodward is in trouble now - Chicote has advanced to mount!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Woodward is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Chicote is stalling here but it's allowed Woodward to get half guard.

Chicote is looking for submissions but instead, Woodward has regained full guard.
Chicote controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Chicote tries to free his leg and advance position but Woodward is retaining full guard.
Woodward could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Chicote postures up.
Chicote passes into half guard.
Chicote is taking a breather. Woodward says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Chicote wants to work for an arm triangle but Woodward is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Woodward wants to control the action here but instead Chicote manages to pass to full mount!
Chicote fails to take his opponent's back.
Chicote forces the positional change into back control.

The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Chicote's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.

Woodward is trying to defend against the choke here but Chicote has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Chicote Tightens the hold and Woodward taps out furiously! Chicote displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
