Astalo kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Limp Bizkit - Break Stuff. Rami Astalo has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Astalo walks into a left hand.

We've been told by Astalo's head coaches at Malmi Aitta that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Astalo looks to land a right hand but Nooles moved out of range.
Nooles throws a shot from downtown. Astalo moves away and avoids it.
A punch lands to the side of Astalo 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Nooles blocks a low kick nicely.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Nooles! But no joy.

Nooles lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Nooles is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Astalo had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Astalo gets through Nooles's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Nooles lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Astalo or not.

Astalo's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Nooles lands a really nice looking cross but Astalo seems unphased.

Nooles fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Astalo on the side of the head.

Nooles looks to score with a jab to the body but Astalo is just out of range.
Astalo throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

As Nooles backs away, Astalo returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.

Some bone on bone action there as Nooles checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Astalo's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Astalo duly obliges.
Nooles takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Astalo misses with a low kick.
Nooles uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Astalo.
Nooles catches Astalo with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Astalo uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Nooles.

Astalo lands a nice leg kick that just misses Nooles's sensitive parts.
Astalo tries to close the distance and clinch up but Nooles swats him away and circles back towards the center.
It seemed like Nooles was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Nooles lands a lovely overhand right.
Astalo misses with a body shot
and Nooles counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Nooles throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Astalo stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
A nice combination there by Nooles.

Astalo is rocked!

Nooles lands a left and a right that send Astalo crashing to the mat, dazed. Nooles thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Oh Astalo is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Nooles cracks Astalo on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Astalo falls backwards against the ropes. Nooles follows up with more strikes that drop Astalo to his knees. Nooles keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Astalo! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:11 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Chris Nooles!
A relieved looking Chris Nooles thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
The defeated Rami Astalo had this to say: 'Nothing to say but fuck off,gonna smoke joint or two'.
