Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Fredrick Darcy!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Radbod Blank and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Darcy lands a nice shot to the body.
Riggs comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Darcy steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Riggs.
Riggs stuffs the takedown attempt from Darcy. Darcy gets slowly back to his feet.
Riggs misses with a takedown attempt
and Darcy makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Riggs fails to land the takedown.
Riggs shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Darcy napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Darcy is trying to get back to half guard.
Darcy tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Riggs presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Riggs lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Riggs cracks Darcy with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!

Ryan Riggs retains his super heavyweight title!
Fredrick Darcy was interviewed post fight and said 'I see no reason to associate with the likes of you country bumpkins!'.
