Heiluu has chosen Kerrankin Tarpeekseen as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Alex Martial could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Cassit Heiluu's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martial cracks a nice hook into Heiluu's ribs.
Heiluu lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Heiluu.
Heiluu connects with a body shot that sends Martial's belly button to the back.

The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Martial checks a leg kick.

Heiluu scores with a nice head shot.
Martial tries to clinch but Heiluu moves out of range.
Heiluu sizes up Martial with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Martial was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Heiluu is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Martial had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Heiluu is looking to slow Martial down with leg kicks.
Martial ducks right into an uppercut from Heiluu.
Heiluu displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Martial throws out the jab.
Heiluu avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Heiluu changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Martial swings wildly with an uppercut but Heiluu uses good head movement to avoid it.

Heiluu has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Martial uses from the top position.

Heiluu has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Martial doesn't defend quickly enough and Heiluu has managed to lock this one up! Can Martial escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Heiluu on a fantastic submission victory.
