Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Thomas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maximillian Xezeron (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thomas's entrance music is all of the lights. A fine choice. Xezeron has chosen Our Truth by Lacuna Coil as his entrance music. Mike Thomas has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Xezeron swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Xezeron throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Thomas counters with a stiff right hand.
Xezeron throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

It looks like Mike Thomas has been cut.
Xezeron throws a front kick that sends Thomas stumbling back into the cage.
Thomas avoids the head kick by Xezeron.
Thomas keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Xezeron lands a leg kick that knocks Thomas off balance momentarily.

Xezeron will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Xezeron feints and then cracks Thomas's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Thomas down.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Thomas checks a leg kick.
It looked like Thomas wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Thomas scores with a jab. Xezeron acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Thomas misses with an uppercut. Xezeron saw that one coming.

Thomas blocks the body kick.
Thomas tries to counter with a takedown but Xezeron is quick to defend against it.
Maximillian Xezeron seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Xezeron throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Xezeron will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Thomas throws a big counter combination but Xezeron scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Thomas wants to pass the guard but Xezeron is keeping the position.

Thomas has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Xezeron is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Thomas stands up over Xezeron, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Thomas content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Thomas arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Xezeron's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
