Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Adis Djurdjevic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bobby TupperIII (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
TupperIII is looking to clinch.
The fighters circle momentarily. Djurdjevic darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

TupperIII drops back looking for a leg! Djurdjevic is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Djurdjevic manages to kick TupperIII off! TupperIII jumps back into Djurdjevic's guard.

TupperIII is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Djurdjevic is aware though and is defending well.

TupperIII looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Djurdjevic has picked TupperIII up and slammed him! TupperIII can't keep hold of the triangle and Djurdjevic manages to pass to side control!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
TupperIII tries to improve position but can't.
Djurdjevic remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
