The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed right hand from Trzy misses the target.
Davidyan looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Trzy throws a big shot that misses.
Trzy tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Davidyan was well out of range. Poor timing from Trzy.
Trzy tests Davidyan's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Davidyan throws an overhand right that lands on Trzy's shoulder, as Trzy tries to avoid the shot.
Trzy throws the left hand but Davidyan avoids the punch easily.
Trzy shoots in for a takedown but Davidyan shows good takedown defense.

Davidyan is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

Trzy throws a hook to the side of Davidyan's head but Davidyan sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Trzy definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Davidyan uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Trzy has time to react.
Davidyan darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

Trzy tightens his grip and picks Davidyan up, before dumping him to the ground. Davidyan manages to land in guard.
Trzy throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Trzy accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Davidyan has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Trzy has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.
Trzy throws a head punch that misses.
Trzy is looking for a takedown.
Trzy drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Davidyan gets the underhooks and prevents it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Trzy Trzy. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Davidyan misses with a body punch.

Trzy escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Trzy takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Nice jab there from Davidyan.
Trzy misses with a looping right.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Nice uppercut lands for Davidyan. That snapped Trzy's head back.
Trzy is rocked!
Davidyan weaves into range and cracks Trzy right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Trzy goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Davidyan is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Gurgen Davidyan!
