Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brock The Beast (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jose Rodri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The Beast comes to the cage accompanied by The Next Big Thing. Brock The Beast looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 21 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jose Rodri!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Yukihiro Shimada and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Beast changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Rodri looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Rodri looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
The Beast is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Rodri knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
The Beast is working Rodri over with some ground and pound from side control.
It looks like Jose Rodri has been cut.
Rodri is trying to escape the position but The Beast is controlling the position.
The Beast tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
The Beast is trying to get an arm triangle but Rodri is defending well.
That's one minute gone in the round.
The Beast wants to lay and pray for a moment but Rodri keeps working.
Rodri tries to buck The Beast off but The Beast is having none of it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The Beast looks up at the clock and then as Rodri takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, The Beast smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
That has opened up Jose Rodri's cut even more.
The Beast is putting a hurting on Rodri here, landing some big shots from side control.
Rodri tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Rodri takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The Beast controlling the position.
The Beast has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
The Beast is working Rodri over with some ground and pound from side control.
The Beast tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Rodri is looking for a sweep.

The Beast scores with punches from side control.
The Beast thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The Beast in side control, just content to control the action for now.
The Beast has an Americana. Rodri didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! The Beast is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if The Beast hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Brock The Beast!
