The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Scord looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Scord postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Gallegos is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Scord content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.

Scord is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Oh Gallegos is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Gallegos working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Scord doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Scord manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Scord arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Gallegos's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
