Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Grogory Damkratov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jallu Pesonen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pesonen is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: DJ Orkidea - Joutsenlaulu. Grogory Damkratov has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Damkratov throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

It looks like Jallu Pesonen has been cut.
Pesonen needs to keep his hands up - Damkratov had a free shot at his head there.
Damkratov misses with a wild combination.
Damkratov walks forward, straight into a front kick from Pesonen.
Pesonen scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Pesonen scores with a jab. Damkratov acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Pesonen dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Damkratov shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

It looks like Grogory Damkratov has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Pesonen shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Damkratov eats them both and turns towards Pesonen to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Pesonen cracks a nice hook into Damkratov's ribs.
Damkratov misses with a straight left.
Pesonen with a nice cross.
Damkratov looks to land a right hand but Pesonen moved out of range.
Pesonen thuds his shin into the meat of Damkratov's side.
Pesonen's coach down at Gangsterdamage was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Pesonen's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Pesonen walks into a jab.
Good shot there by Pesonen.
A solid body kick from Pesonen.

Pesonen showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Damkratov.

Damkratov tries to keep at a distance but Pesonen has taken the fight into the clinch.

Pesonen manages to break the clinch.
Pesonen lunges at Damkratov with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Damkratov's hand.
Pesonen drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Pesonen clinches up with Damkratov and pushes him back against the cage.
Pesonen lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Damkratov backwards.
A hook to the body from Pesonen.
Damkratov tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Pesonen's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Pesonen swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Damkratov.

Grogory Damkratov's cut is getting worse.
Pesonen swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Damkratov moves forwards but Pesonen connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Damkratov throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Pesonen.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Some wild striking there from Damkratov.
A jab from Pesonen does it's job there.
Damkratov missing with a left hand there. Pesonen was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Damkratov looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Pesonen clobbers Damkratov with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Damkratov misses the jab.
Pesonen thuds his shin into the meat of Damkratov's side.
Pesonen fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Pesonen cracks Damkratov with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Damkratov takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.

Pesonen drops Damkratov with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Damkratov looks back up at him and smiles so Pesonen waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Damkratov is rocked!
Damkratov walks into a straight right, dropping him to the canvas! Pesonen swarms him and finishes the fight with a hail of punches! What a brutal finish!

Jallu Pesonen was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
