Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mason swinging wildly here.
Sato unleashes a big counter combination but Mason bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.

Sato darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Mason is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Sato's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Sato's back!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Sato rolls, trying to escape but Mason keeps control of the position.
The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Mason's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.

Mason is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Sato knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Sato for a finish.
Sato is trying to stand back up.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Mason is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Sato defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

Sato manages to reverse the position and now he's in Mason's guard. Nice work there by Sato.
Sato sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Mason's guard.

Mason is trying to control Sato's posture. Sato takes advantage of the lull and advances to side control. He also appears to have an arm triangle here! Uh oh, big trouble for Mason! Sato is rotating here... this could be the end... Mason is out! Sato has ended this one emphatically! Great submission!
