The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big left from Westbrook misses.
A counter left hand to the body from Whitfield misses its target.
Westbrook swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

Tyron Westbrook is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Whitfield throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Westbrook's waist but Westbrook gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Whitfield off to one side.
