Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Malachy Carey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pascal Letaivu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Carey might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to March of Cambreadth. Malachy Carey has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Pascal Letaivu!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Frank Dennis and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Letaivu misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Carey.
Letaivu keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Carey closes this distance looking for a takedown but Letaivu circles away.
Carey takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Carey tries to score a power double leg takedown but Letaivu sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Carey somewhat.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Letaivu, as that shot connected.

Carey looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.
BOOM! Letaivu lands a beautiful left hook that drops Carey. Carey tries to recover but Letaivu is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Carey lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
