The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Beasley gets in close and instigates a clinch.

St Pierre is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Beasley can't fight it off and eventually St Pierre manages to take the fight to the floor. Beasley looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
St Pierre prevents Beasley from getting back to his feet.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

It looks like Emilio Beasley has been cut.
St Pierre postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Beasley covers up, he's hurt! St Pierre keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from St Pierre and the ref steps in to end the fight! St Pierre can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.

George St Pierre spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
