Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Alfredo Barbosa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Better Dead (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dead comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Death March - Motionless in White kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Better Dead has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Alfredo Barbosa's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 17 - 0, fighting out of London, Alfredo Barbosa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 22 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Better Dead!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Daniel Franklin and Stewart Dunkirk.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dead misses with an uppercut
and Barbosa counters with a stiff right hand.
Dead walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Barbosa checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Barbosa avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Dead pivots, looking for a leg kick but Barbosa is out of range and Dead settles back down.
Dead lands with a thumping leg kick.
Dead's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Barbosa connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Dead scrambles back to his feet.
Dead finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Dead sizes up Barbosa with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Barbosa swats away the attempt to clinch by Dead.
It looked like Barbosa wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Barbosa uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Dead thumps Barbosa with a low kick.
Barbosa throws the left hand but Dead avoids the punch easily.
Dead avoids the head kick by Barbosa.
Dead's coach down at Montreal Gym Sparr was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Dead's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Barbosa changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A head kick misses from Dead.
Dead chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Barbosa can pounce on him.
Dead throws a good cross that connects.

It looks like Alfredo Barbosa has been cut.
Dead connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Barbosa momentarily.
Barbosa uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Dead.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Dead misses with a lunging right hand
and Barbosa counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Barbosa lands a jab to the nose.
Dead is looking to score with low kicks.
Dead scores with a decent looking hook.
Barbosa shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Barbosa is rocked!
Dead knocks out Barbosa with a massive right hand! The ref tackles Dead before he can follow up with any more strikes and that's it everyone. Dead picks up the big W with a huge KO!
