The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Daniel Franklin and George Francis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

McNatt closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
McNatt fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Wise keeps McNatt under control for a moment.
Wise tries to control but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad.
Wise could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Wise is in a horrible position here. McNatt smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

It looks like Fred Wise has been cut.
McNatt looking to control but Wise is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
McNatt sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.

McNatt looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
McNatt tries to control but Wise wriggling away.

McNatt content just to control the position here.
Wise tries to lock up and control but McNatt gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
McNatt wants to control the pace but Wise is squirming around nicely.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wise tries to hold on but McNatt postures up.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
McNatt thowing shots but they're missing.
Wise wants to control but McNatt is having none of it.

McNatt stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.

McNatt darts in and clinches Wise up against the cage.
McNatt is looking to control Wise's arms but Wise gets an underhook and turns him. Now McNatt has his back to the cage.

McNatt gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Wise wants to get back to his feet.
McNatt keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Wise trying to control but McNatt postures up.

McNatt throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

McNatt stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.

McNatt changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Wise looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Wise isn't going anywhere.
McNatt tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.

McNatt has hold of Wise's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Wise tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - McNatt cranks the arm and Wise screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Wise, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
