Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jimmy Nation!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Borys Hund!
The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Igor Prikhodko and Aleksei Zolotukhin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nation feints a jab promting Hund to slip. Nation then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Hund slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Hund shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Nation pinned against the cage. Nation gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
As Hund tries to get set, Nation tries to push him back and clinch up but Hund manages to avoid the attempt.

Nation shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Hund is trying to defend but Nation finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Nation is trying to work for a kimura but Hund is defending well.
Nation trying to control from Hund's half guard. Hund has other ideas though and has regained full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Hund has his feet on Nation's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Hund throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Nation's waist but Nation gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hund off to one side.
Nation tries to counter with a takedown but Hund is quick to defend against it.
Jimmy Nation has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Borys Hund.

Nation shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Nation showed some decent athleticism there.

Hund makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
Hund shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Nation but Nation pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Hund throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hund looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Hund swats away the attempt to clinch by Nation.
Hund lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.

Nation shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Hund is trying to defend but Nation finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Hund manages to get to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hund keeping moving, preventing Nation from controlling successfully.

Hund manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
Hund goes for a takedown in the clinch but Nation prevents it.
Hund is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Nation is defending well for now.

Hund changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Nation fights it off and pushes away nicely.

and Nation makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Hund looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Nation drives through with a takedown into Hund's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Hund pulls Nation in close to his closed guard and prevents Nation from doing any damage or advancing position.
Nation keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Hund's head.
Nation won't allow Hund to sweep him here.
Nation stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hund swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Hund is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Nation frees his head nicely. Oh but Hund has switched to an armbar! Nation is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
