Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Vasil Tsvetanov!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, David Hoff and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tsvetanov on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
A low kick from Tsvetanov is predictable there
and Penn cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Tsvetanov misses with a hook
and Penn counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Tsvetanov wants to clinch
and Penn counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Tsvetanov thinking.
Tsvetanov misses with a left hand
and Penn counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Penn circles away from the clinch attempt
and Penn counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Tsvetanov has his takedown stuffed
and Penn counters with a stiff right hand.
Tsvetanov tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Penn counters with a nice uppercut.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Penn swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Tsvetanov.
Penn throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Tsvetanov shoots and misses
letting Penn counter with a right hand.
Tsvetanov tries for a takedown but Penn circles away easily
and Penn connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
CJ Penn has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vasil Tsvetanov.
Tsvetanov looks winded!
Penn dips to his left and cracks Tsvetanov with an uppercut!

and Penn counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Penn lands the left hand.
CJ Penn is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Tsvetanov fails with the takedown
and Penn counters with a lovely shot to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Tsvetanov walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Jab, jab by Penn - just one landing.
Tsvetanov is rocked!
Penn drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Tsvetanov right on the button. Tsvetanov goes down! Penn follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Penn gets the win via TKO!
