Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Robert Twigg and Stewart Dunkirk.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bale displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Man.
Horrible takedown attempt by Man or perhaps it was just good defense by Bale, which made it look bad.
Bale pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
It looked like Man wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Bale enables Man to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Bale manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Man postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bale is trying to control the position but Man postures up.
Man stands up over Bale, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Man connects with a couple of short punches.
Man throws an elbow that misses. Bale uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Man's guard. Nice move by Bale!

Man manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Bale manages to get himself to full guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Man had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Bale defends it easily.

Bale scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Bale takes a decent strike to the side of the head.

Man looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Bale passes into half guard.

A close round but Tony Bale will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Bale connects with a body shot that sends Man's belly button to the back.
Bale connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Man tumbling to the canvas! Bale pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Man was done - good stoppage!

After the fight, Tony Bale was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
