Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dixie Pablo Khakhold!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Johny Chambers!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Chris Downing and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Chambers bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Khakhold tries to buck Chambers off but Chambers is having none of it.
Khakhold regains half guard.
Khakhold tries to roll over but Chambers keeps him under control.

Khakhold is looking for a sweep. Chambers is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Khakhold regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Chambers.

Chambers got a little sloppy there for a moment and Khakhold has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Chambers has managed to get both his arms back between Khakhold's legs - danger averted.

Khakhold seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.

Khakhold sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Chambers cracks Khakhold with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Khakhold wants to control but Chambers is having none of it.
Chambers putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!

Chambers cracks Khakhold with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Johny Chambers!
Johny Chambers decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
