Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gullion gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Puzo connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Puzo blocks a head kick by Gullion.
Gullion throws a head kick that misses.
Gullion misses with a head kick.
Gullion clobbers Puzo with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Gullion takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Gullion tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Puzo let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
A clash of legs there as Gullion blocks the low kick.
Gullion throws a head kick that misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Gullion looks to land a body kick but Puzo moved away.
Puzo throws a fast counter high kick but Gullion manages to duck under it in time.

Puzo connects with a body shot that sends Gullion's belly button to the back.
Gullion takes a shot right to the bread basket.

Gullion throws a body punch but Puzo moves out of range.
Gullion misses with a low kick as Puzo jumps back.
Gullion tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
A slow jab from Puzo misses its intended target.
Gullion dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Puzo. That did some damage!
Puzo is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Puzo is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Gullion rather than just go for the knockout.
Puzo fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Gullion has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Puzo ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Gullion moves away.
Puzo blocks a head kick by Gullion.
Puzo looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Puzo looks to throw the jab but Gullion is out of range.
Puzo steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Gullion. That one must have hurt.
Gullion swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Puzo fakes the leg kick and cracks Gullion in the body.
Gullion looks to score with a jab to the body but Puzo is just out of range.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Puzo! But no joy.
Puzo defending well as Gullion loads up on a big left hand.
Puzo throws an overhand right that lands on Gullion's shoulder, as Gullion tries to avoid the shot.
Gullion was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Puzo misses with a wild body shot.

Gullion lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Puzo, as that shot connected.
Puzo throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Puzo drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Gullion misses with a body kick.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Gullion.
Gullion throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Gullion keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Gullion fires out a quick counter leg kick but Puzo just manages to avoid it.
Both fighters circling a little - Gullion finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Gullion throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Gullion pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Gullion closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Gullion jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.

Gullion lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Puzo sizes up Gullion with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Puzo drops Gullion with a naaaaasty hook - Gullion is in real trouble here! Puzo dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
