Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Gunter Vogler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Christian Edge (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vogler comes to the cage accompanied by Durchblick - Mach Dich Locker. Edge has chosen For Heavy Metal we will die! as his entrance music. Gunter Vogler has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vogler fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Edge is out of range.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Vogler.
Vogler throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Vogler scores with a shot to the body.
Edge misses with a low kick.
Vogler on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
An inside leg kick from Edge misses.
Edge scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Edge takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Vogler seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Edge bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Edge lands with a straight right. Vogler didn't see that one coming.
Edge gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Vogler.
Vogler scores with a jab. Edge acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

Edge throws a body punch but Vogler moves out of range.
Vogler throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Edge jabbing away but nothing is landing.
A looping hook to the body misses from Vogler. Edge does a little dance to reset his feet.
Edge chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Vogler can pounce on him.

Vogler looks to score with a jab to the body but Edge is just out of range.
It seemed like Edge was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Vogler throws a leg kick which misses Edge's front leg but catches the back leg as Edge tries to avoid it.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Vogler takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Vogler throws a sloppy head kick and Edge moves out of range easily.
Edge tries to work over Vogler's front leg with a kick but Vogler checks it.

Vogler tries to close the distance and clinch up but Edge swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Vogler throws a low kick, looking for Edge's leg but Edge calmly moves out of range.
Edge steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect.
A lazy left from Edge finds it's target.
Edge lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Edge tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Vogler moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Decent striking displayed by Vogler there.
Edge uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Vogler.

Edge missing with a left hand there. Vogler was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Vogler moves out of range of the strikes.
Vogler fakes the leg kick and cracks Edge in the body.
Vogler throws a body shot but no joy.
Vogler is looking to wear down Edge with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Vogler displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Edge throws out the jab.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Edge enables Vogler to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Edge manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Vogler lying in Edge's guard like a wet fish here, stalling away. Edge decides he's had enough of all that nonsense - he escapes his hips and locks up an armbar! Wow, that was slick! Vogler taps! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
