Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 44 - 29 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Garik Harlamov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 17 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Wladyslaw Raginis!
The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Dmitry Maklakov and Fedor Mirinova.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Raginis is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Harlamov's half guard.
Raginis scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Harlamov definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Raginis looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Raginis connects with a nice short shot to Harlamov's temple.
Raginis has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Raginis looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Harlamov with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Raginis seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Harlamov does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Raginis working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.

Harlamov is bucking up trying to escape but Raginis cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

It looks like Garik Harlamov has been cut.
Oooh a big shot lands for Raginis! Harlamov is out! The ref dives in to save him from more punishment!
